Two people take one product from idea to live. A whole team organised this way does ten times the work.

Turbothon is not a tool and not a training course. It is a different shape for a software team, with AI agents doing the typing and the work done measured every month on your own data.

Six simple rules

What we believe, and why the shape works

1

Typing is no longer the slow part

Deciding what to build, checking it works and shipping it are. AI agents removed the typing; the judgement is the job now.

2

Silos existed because one person held one part

With AI agents, two people can hold the whole thing: discovery, spec, build, test, release and support.

3

A pod that owns a product beats a department that owns a layer

Faster, prouder and cheaper. Nobody waits in a queue for the next desk.

4

One foundation team serves many pods

If it owns the servers, testing, security and design, every pod gets them as a service and stays on the product.

5

Measure work done, not hours

If it cannot be measured, it has not changed. Two numbers, on your own data, every month.

6

Build fast, test fast, fail fast

A product that will fail should fail in weeks, not quarters. That is cheaper than being careful.

The team shape

Small pods on one foundation

No more back-end, front-end, full-stack or database job titles. Each pod owns its product from idea to live. The foundation team does everything on the server side, so the pods never leave the product.

Product pod 1

Two people. One product, from idea to live.

Product pod 2

Two people. One product, from idea to live.

Product pod 3

Two people. One product, from idea to live.

Product pod 4

Two people. One product, from idea to live.

Project management

Small. Priorities, client contact, measuring.

Foundation team: the pods sit on it

DevOpsServers, database, releases, backups
QA and QCAutomatic re-testing of everything on every change
SecurityAccess, passwords, audit trail, incident response
UI/UXThe design and screens the pods build against

What a pod does

  • DiscoveryTalks to the people who will use the product and decides what to build.
  • SpecificationWrites down what good looks like before any code exists.
  • BuildBuilds it with AI coding agents, with the foundation team's standards.
  • Test, release, supportChecks it works, ships it, and looks after it. The same two people, all the way.

What the foundation team does

  • Servers and releasesDatabase, publishing, automatic releases, tested backups.
  • Re-testing on every changeAny number of tests run on every change, so quality is a service, not a hope.
  • SecurityAccess, passwords, audit trail, incident response.
  • DesignThe design system and screens the pods build against.
The programme

Six months, with a gate at day 30

The pilot is 30 days. The whole programme is six months. At every checkpoint the work done is measured against the start, together, and both sides sign the sheet.

Days 1 to 30

Pilot pod

  • Week one: we measure where you are today and agree what counts as one piece of work
  • First pod chosen; tools and access ready by day five
  • Pod trained and working the new way; measured again on day 30
Months 2 to 3

More pods

  • Second and third pods formed
  • Foundation team set up
  • Pods take live projects; measured at month 3
Months 4 to 5

Whole team

  • Everyone in pods
  • Coaches step back
  • Measured at month 5
Month 6

Handover

  • Whole team measured against the start
  • Your team owns the method and the measuring
  • You depend on nobody
Day 30 gate: we measure the pilot pod together and both sign the sheet. Under 5x, the fee comes back in full and we stop. At 5x or better, we carry on.
Measurement

Two numbers, measured on your own work

The definitions go into the contract before the pilot starts. Your own data is the judge. That is what makes the guarantee a deal rather than a gift.

How much you ship

Pieces of work finished per pod per month. We agree in week one what one piece is: a feature, a story, a module or a test case, whatever your work is counted in.

How long it takes

Days from an agreed spec to live, for a similar piece of work. Something that took six months should take one month or less.

Measured together

The starting point is measured together in week one. Your data, your numbers, both signatures.

5x meets the guarantee

5x on either number meets the guarantee at day 30. 10x for the whole team is the month-six target.

Bugs stay the same or fewer

It only counts if bugs stay the same or fewer. Nobody gets to 5x by shipping rubbish.

Plain terms

What you get, and what you do not

You get

  • Us, inside your teamOn site or online. We scope the work with your managers and your users, not from a brief.
  • Working software, built with your podsWith tests, backups and releases, so your people see it done, not described.
  • A team that owns it by month sixNo ongoing fee. No dependency on us.

You do not get

  • A tool licenceYou will use AI coding agents, but the gain comes from the team shape, not the tool.
  • Outsourced developmentYour people do the work. Ours coach, measure and step back.
  • A training courseThere is training in the first month, but nobody gets a certificate. They get a product they shipped.
  • ebita.ai doing your jobIf you want a vendor to build for you, there are cheaper ones. This changes what your own payroll produces.
